33. Cluneal Nerves




Cluneal Nerve. These nerves are the cutaneous nerves of the buttocks. There are three nerve type superior, medial and inferior cluneal nerves. 

MT's avoid this area because there can be a lot of nerve entrapment in some of these nerves. Causing extra stress on the nerve may not feel good to the client causing burning or shooting pain.
