Kidneys. Located at either side of the spine between the 3rd lumbar and the 12th thoracic vertebrae.
MT's should avoid direct pressure on organs as you don't want to cause pain, nausea, bruising or diminish function. Superficial and deep stroking may be applied to the back as long as it is not within the regions of the kidney. Only light pressure should be applied over the kidney area. Avoid deep, direct, compressive pressure and heavy tapotement.
