35. Varicose Veins


Varicose Veins. These veins carry unoxygenated blood, swollen and knotted as a result of flaws in the valves. 

MT's avoid this area because of potential blood clots. Direct pressure can cause further damage. Use light pressure or avoid areas with varicose veins. Note spider veins ok.
